The Upper Battery, St. John's, Newfoundland.
With only a day left in the city before heading back to life in Belleville, I decided to have a solid day of wandering some of my favorite places, just myself and my camera. It was a good decision. An early morning rise to check out the view around Quidi Vidi Lake, followed by a photo shoot and then walk down from Signal Hill, into the Battery then downtown. Perfection. What a beautiful day it was. About 15 degrees or so, people with clothes on the line, the streets a buzz with people soaking up every ray of the precious precious sunlight. Too much rain can make you go a lil stir crazy and Lord knows this place has had its share of rain. The cold wet pretty Island. I won't see it again now for 6 months or so. I'm glad I made it home this time, the fall is probably my favorite, although new life in Spring is a close runner up!
