I can't believe Kennedy is almost a year old. This time a year ago I was pushing my plane ticket back an extra week again in order to meet her before having to come back for school. This impromptu trip home, she's chilling on my lap editing pictures and listening to music on Youtube. It amazes me how much she's changed. How fast she's growing and what a personality she has. I love even more, that she knows who I am. That she takes me by the hand and takes her wobbly steps discovering the big world. This little tiny being poking and exploring the craziness of this life without fear, unless she loses sight of something she knows that is. She takes everything in. Her eyes get more and more vibrant as I see her beginning to understand what's happening. She has a sense of place, a purpose now that she didn't before. This new found mobility is perfect. I miss her so much already. My favorite.
