Tacheles is an internationally known, famous Art-Center in Berlin, that was squatted in 20 years ago. Over 80 artists from over a dozen different countries work and live at the Tacheles, and history, the Art-Center and bars downstairs, are just some of the reasons why it is such a popular tourist attraction. Today, it is in danger of being shutdown and the artists who inhabit the building kicked out, to replace it with hotels and/or expensive living spaces.

They didn't allow any photos inside the art studios, only within the outside yard and in the bar section of the property. I did manage to shoot off a couple frames of the inside of the first floor of the building, with it's endless amounts of graffiti and art scattered throughout every inch of the place. It was damp, smelled like piss and had some of the most eye catching and questioning pieces I've ever seen.
