No trespassing signs state their warning along an open pit of blasted limestone, earth and ore. Almost 600 feet deep, this was once the site of a mine that employed some 300+ men in Mamora, Ontario. After its closure in 1979, underground streams and rainfalls have slowly begun to fill the mine and it is now officially classified as a lake.
