Above or below, both the S and U-Bahn were interesting ways to get around the city, although I have to admit I was on a bicycle for the majority of my travel time. It was nice to sit with my head against the S-Bahn window and watch the cloudy heavy sky rush along with the swirls of color from the dozens of artists who's work decorate the city. It was equally as enjoyable to watch the people underground as they rode in their own silences to destinations unknown.
